eLearning Design and Development

MentoringU develops and delivers instructional design e-Learning courses through a variety of delivery methods including TinCan, AICC, SCORM, Video and HTML5. The MentoringU Team embraces instructional design best practices. Learning modules are created with a plan for continuity of design and branding, learning experience, and reporting and management.

eLearning Design

MentoringU is passionate about e-learning and the opportunities it provides to learners of all educational backgrounds. We follow the ADDIE model of design when structuring our freelance and development work. This allows us to have a dedicated infrastructure and process that allows for efficient and effective development that meets our standards and exceeds your goals.

eLearning Development

We develop eLearning content in a variety of elearning authoring tools, including Articulate, iSpring, Rise, Camtasia and others. Our development process always begins by establishing your goals and learning objectives and ensuring that the content, interactions and activities we develop reinforce those key concepts.

eLearning Revision and Modification

We also consult and work on existing eLearning content that might need modification, additional engagement activities or larger revisions for content, user experience or software update needs.

Interactions

MentoringU develops interactions that reinforce key learning objectives and allows learners to experience the content in a different format. Not all learners absorb and retain knowledge in the same way and interactions allow tactile learners a better path to processing the information in the course.

Activities

Activities are often used as knowledge checks or self-tests where learners perform an activity and receive feedback on their progress. Activities can take a variety of formats and be as simple as a quiz and as interactive as a game, learner choice experience, or simulation.

Interaction Review and Planning

Many eLearning courses can benefit from additional interactions or engagement activities. MentoringU can review existing eLearning courses and provide suggestions for activities and interactions that be developed to enhance the eLearning course and elevate the user experience.

Interactions and Activities

The MentoringU Team develops engaging interactions or hands on virtual activities based on the course outline and learning objectives for each learning module. Engagement activities and interactions should reinforce the learner’s absorption of key material and processes. Creating engagement experiences is also an opportunity for learners to practice hands-on application of some of the best practices discussed in the learning modules and interact with the material in an additional format.

LMS Management and Support

MentoringU support clients on a variety of LMS platforms, from SaaS solutions like Thinkific, Kajabi, and Teachable, to enterprise solutions such as Learnupon. We also support native WordPress-based plugin solutions such as LearnDash. Traci Synatschk, MentoringU Founder, has almost a decade of experience creating and managing LMS platforms for corporate and entrepreneur clients.

Hello! I’m Traci. I’ve Been Building eLearning for 15 Years

Masters in Instructional Design and Technology, 15 years of experience with eLearning and virtual education. Designed and developed elearning solutions to educate client’s trade ally network while improving organization performance and training uptake. Worked collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts and Technical Writers to effectively translate technical training needs, sales and marketing techniques and organizational procedures into meaningful training materials.
